Thank you to the parents,  families and faculty who came out to support our school! 
 Special thanks to the members of our School Band and to the members of our Monarch Players who braved the rain to perform.  It was a fun night!


5th - 8th Grade Celebrates Multicultural Day!


St. Edward's Welcomes Children's Book Illustrator
ANN KISSANE ENGELHART




Book Illustrator Ann Kissane Engelhart visited with our children this week to discuss her book "Friendship with Jesus".  Her beautifully illustrated book is about Pope Benedict and his discussions with children on their First Holy Communion.  We thank her for coming to visit and for sharing her beautiful watercolors and faithful message with us. SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

Three candidates are running for two spots on our School Board.  Please check you child's backpack for your ballot.  If you would prefer to vote in person, you may do so after any mass next weekend, May 19-20.  You can read about our nominees here.

SPORTS DAY COMMITTEE

Attention Parents: 

Sports Day 2012 is scheduled for Monday May 21st (rain date Wed 5/30).

Many volunteers will be required throughout the day for a variety of tasks:

-Event Supervisors

-Set-up/Food Prep

-Lunch Supervisors

-Face-Painting

-Clean-Up

Please mark the dates on your calendar. We will need plenty of help.  If you would like to volunteer in any way, please email Chris Tomlinson at AMCJGREEN@YAHOO.COM
