We are excited about this new program and look forward to your support. If you would like to learn more about bucket filling, visit the Bucket Fillers website.

What is a bucket filler?

The "bucket" represents your mental and emotional self. Everyone carries an invisible bucket that holds our good thoughts and feelings. When our bucket is "full" we are happy. If it is empty we are sad.

How do you fill a bucket?
Students can fill buckets when they do or say things that are kind, considerate, caring and respectful. When students are mean, inconsiderate, uncaring, or disrespectful, they dip into buckets and remove those good feelings. We will fill our class bucket with a scoopful of birdseed whenever a child is recognized for being a bucket filler! When the bucket is full, we will go outside and feed the birds!
