April Curriculum

1. Students will identify, describe and compare measurable attributes of everyday objects in terms of length, weight and volume. Students will compare numbers and quantities. Students will identify first and last to begin to understand numerical order.

2. Students will identify and repeat letter and sound recognition 
(Letters Q, R, S, T, U)

3. Students will learn about new Literacy concepts (Poetry and stories with repetitive text)

4. Students will learn more about Earth Day. Students will learn about the importance of keeping the environment clean and recycling. 

5. Students will develop and increase their gross motor skills (Cutting, Gluing, Painting and Beading)

6. Students will incorporate gross motor movements when they dance to Spring Songs.


7. Students will learn to identify the color purple. Please have your child wear purple on
