As we move into the month of March, let us hope that the familiar saying “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb” proves to be true and that the weather provides more seasonable temperatures and no more snow.
This week at St. Edward School:
Monday, March 10th
School is closed. Teachers will be attending a teachers’ conference. Parent/teacher conferences will be held between 6 and 8p.m.
Wednesday, March 12th
There will be an evening Open House from 7 – 8:30p.m. Please spread the good news about our school and encourage a friend to attend this Open House.
Saturday, March 15th
Lucky Leprechaun. Don’t forget to purchase your ticket and join us for a fun-filled evening. Details can be found under PASE events.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Gabriella Civello
Congratulations to Gabriella Civello ('11) who recently received the Town of Oyster Bay's highest honor - a citation by Councilman Chris Coschignano. The citation recognizes Gabriella's efforts in helping those in need. Since 2008, Gabriella has volunteered in a program to feed the hungry on Thanksgiving Day Gabriella in conjunction with the Cheesecake Factory and the Salvation Army. In the summer of 2013, she worked at an orphanage in Costa Rica. As a student at St. Anthony's, Gabriella has played JV basketball and is involved in Campus Ministry and a retreat leader.
Gabriella is featured in the January 22 issue of the Syosset-Jericho Tribune.
