Lunch Program 2023-2024
Welcome back to St. Edward’s!

Basic points:
· All food is sourced daily from local restaurants and vendors (listed at the bottom of this letter)
· Most meals are served with a side (fruit, vegetables, cheese stick, apple sauce, fruit, yogurt drink, etc.)
· With few exceptions, the menu is the same each day of the week (i.e. Monday =burgers, etc.)
· Please provide your child with a drink
· Ordering is done ONLINE in 4-5 week cycles in advance (please make sure to order before the
deadline to avoid the late fee of $10/student). To pay online, you may use your PayPal account or pay as a
guest using a credit or debit card. You may also submit a check or cash
· Credit for School Closing or any School/Class-wide lunch cancellations (school-mandated quarantine,
snow days, Field Trips) will be automatically applied and you will see the credit in your account. At the end of
the school year, unused credits will be donated to our school unless you request a refund.
. There is a one-time per child, per school year fee of $10 (approx. $1/month). We hope you find the
the convenience of the lunch program is well worth it.
Hot Pretzel Day: Once a week, usually on Thursdays, we serve HOT PRETZELS as a morning snack. Please order
through the lunch menu.

Other points:
· Substitutions may be necessary (rarely), including main courses. Inclement weather and other extreme
situations may force us to make last-minute changes.
· Most food is portioned and wrapped individually by the vendors.
· We cannot issue refunds or credits if your child is absent from school. If your child is going to be
absent for an extended period (very sick, quarantine, unplanned vacation), please email
[email protected] and, as a courtesy, we may cancel as many lunches as possible – this is NOT a
guarantee).
· If you need specific information about the food, including allergen information, we urge you
to contact the vendors directly (info below). We also suggest your children taste the food before placing the
orders as we are not able to edit orders once they have been placed. Advance ordering allows us to obtain
the best possible prices from our vendors.
· Snack sales (K-8th Grade only): after lunch. Most items are $1-2.
