AnnMarie LoManto

 

Ms. LoManto, a woman deeply devoted to her faith, family, and the education of young minds, has served as a teacher for over 15 years and the Dean of Students for 3 years. Her commitment to education has touched the lives of many students throughout her career. 

Prior to joining the St. Edward's family, Ms. LoManto was a Middle School Math teacher in public and private school for over 15 years.  Before taking on this new role as Principal of St. Edward, she was the Dean of Students at St. Dominic High School in Oyster Bay.

Born and raised in Flushing, NY, Ms. LoManto attended St. Agnes High School in College Point,  where she excelled academically and extracurricularly. She served as a writer on the school newspaper, head of the Dance Team, and the Cheerleading Captain.  She received numerous awards for her accomplishments.

Ms. LoManto's personal life is equally fulfilling. She is married to Damiano DiMaggio, owner of DiMaggio Electric.  She has two sons.  Daniel, is a Junior at Fordham University.  He also is on the Fordham Rugby team.  Aidan, is a Senior at Locust Valley High School.  She has two step-daughters.  Maria is a pediatric nurse at Cohen's Hospital.  Joanna is a Senior at Queens College.

In her spare time, Ms. LoManto enjoys working out, cooking, reading, and cheering on the The New York Rangers!  Ms. LoManto also enjoys traveling and spending time with her two french bull dogs, Duke and Bella!

Ms. LoManto is looking forward to continue to lead St. Edward's into a prosperous future.
